Karma Shala Yoga

Ariane Blais

Class style: My classes are inspired by Yin and Hatha yoga, as well as the traditional wisdom of Yoga, Vipassana meditation and contemporary knowledge. Combining softness and vigor, vulnerability and strength, alignment and fluidity, the reconciliation of dualities guides my approach to the science of Yoga.

Why I teach yoga: My first experience with Yoga occurred in India in 2004. Since that moment, the practice has never left me and continues to be a source of balance and dialogue between the physical and the mental. The simplicity of yoga makes it accessible to everyone, and that is why I like to participate in its demystification. Teaching is also a way of cultivating humility and openness to new learning, an attitude that I hope to maintain throughout my life.
