The beginning of Sara’s journey of yoga started during her studies in University with a very sporadic practice. She was searching for a way to heal persistent injuries and to soothe her anxieties about University. The focus of her studies at school were changing and taking her in all different directions and she decided to take a break to evaluate what her true desires were. She felt called to deepen her knowledge of yoga in a 380-hour training in Hatha and Vinyasa at Yoga Sangha in 2014. She was deeply fond of the discipline as a student and becoming a teacher was a huge revelation. That same year she left her job and launched herself into teaching full time.
Hungry to learn more she enrolled in a 300-hour Therapeutic Yoga training at RE:SOURCE in 2015, followed by an Aerial Yoga training in 2018. Today Sara is captivated by her studies in herbalism and naturopathy. Sara has always been fascinated by the idea of healing by returning to our natural resources. Her daily life is divided between teaching yoga, developing her gardens and remedies, as well as waking in the forest with one or two tree hugs!
