New Studio Policies – Please read
We are always striving to make your experience at Karma Shala Yoga the best it can possibly be! This is why we are improving our studio policies regarding pre-registration, late cancellations and contract suspensions.
Class Registration Policies
  • In order to pre-register for a class you must pay for the class.
  • Registrations can be done at the studio or online. Please, no registrations by phone, email, voice or text message.
  • Pre-registration is not required but recommended in order to ensure you have a spot in class. Some classes fill up fast – so booking in advance is always best.
  • If it is your first time at the studio, please make sure to arrive 15 minutes before class to fill out our new client form. It is mandatory to fill out our new client form and sign the liability waiver before taking the class.
  • If you book a class that is full, add your name to the waitlist and you will be notified if a spot in the class becomes available.
  • If you have registered for the class and are not present 5 minutes before the class start time, your spot will be given away to individuals on the waitlist.
  • Once the class has started you will not be permitted to enter – no exceptions. This is out of respect towards the students and the teacher. Please make sure to arrive early enough to register and prepare yourself for the class.
Cancellation Policies
  • If you book a class and can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible. No email, voicemail, text or phone cancellations please.
  • If you do not cancel your reservation within 3 hours of the class start time you will be charged a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellation fees are as follows:
    • For a drop in – your class will be taken as a late cancel
    • For a 6 class or 12 class pass – your class will be taken as a late cancel
    • For an unlimited pass – You will be charged $15
  • If you are moved from the waitlist into the class more than 3 hours before the class start time the standard cancellation policies mentioned above apply to your class.
  • If you are moved from the waitlist into the class within 3 hours of the class and are not able to attend, you will not be charged for the class. In this circumstance we ask that you inform us as quickly as possible so that we can move someone else from the waitlist to the class.
  • Our intention is to ensure that the maximum number of yogis get to attend our most popular classes in a way that is equal and fair for all!
Contract Suspension
  • Yogis with a 1 year unlimited pass or a 6 month unlimited pass are eligible for a one time contract suspension for a maximum of one month.
